The process begins with hundreds or up to thousands of high resolution images shot from hundreds of feet in the air in an extremely tight overlapping grid, providing an unmatched photogrammetric view of all topography, hydrology, flora and potential hazards.
02 / Processing
The intensely detailed topology is then stitched together to produce a single massive photogrammetric map of the land surface regardless of size from one hectare to hundreds and then layering of the additional light spectrums to produce a variety of the most widely recognized scientific vegetation maps from the multispectral drone topography.
03 / Analysis
The PitchEye platform then utilizes a cutting edge AI image segmentation model, similar in many respects to a model that would operate a self-driving car, to evaluate the health of the vegetation as it exists at the time of surveying and then utilizing all of the inputs available to it from the imagery and additional inputs based on hydrologic conditions and weather modeling to predict future health conditions for the vegetation. As the model learns the specific land area over time the predictive abilities become incredibly powerful.
